One of the requirements of the whole Initiative process is to officialy put the Town on notice that the process is starting, and to provide the town with two copies of the initiative as is planned to be circulated. A second requirement at this point is that the Town's Attorney is requested to write an official "Title" and "Summary Description" that can then be used to publish a legal notice of the "Intent to Circulate" in a local Newspaper of Record - i.e. The Town Crier.
